Este editorial aborda a crescente integração da inteligência artificial (IA) na educação, destacando os avanços, desafios éticos e implicações legais associados a essa tecnologia. Os artigos da presente edição da Review of Artificial Intelligence in Education oferecem uma análise abrangente sobre como a IA está transformando o ensino superior, melhorando a qualidade do aprendizado e enfrentando questões relacionadas à integridade acadêmica e ética. O editorial explora temas como o uso de chatbots, plataformas de IA para avaliação, a necessidade de governança ética no uso de IA em pesquisas científicas, e a criação de frameworks legais robustos para garantir o uso responsável dessas tecnologias no ambiente educacional.
