Resumo

Objetivo: Esta pesquisa investiga a crescente proeminência da Inteligência Artificial (IA) na economia atual, particularmente em melhorar as experiências dos clientes e remodelar abordagens tradicionais em vários setores, incluindo a educação.

Resultados: Com a mudança para as compras online em busca de conveniência e personalização, a IA emergiu como uma ferramenta fundamental para os negócios. Instituições educacionais estão transitando de métodos convencionais, exemplificado pela adoção da Alexa pela Universidade Estadual do Arizona para fornecer aos alunos informações institucionais simplificadas. Além disso, avanços na IA, apoiados por GPUs rápidas e acesso a vastos dados de treinamento, possibilitaram inovações como carros autônomos, conforme destacado pelas percepções de Russell Glenister. A pandemia da COVID-19 acelerou ainda mais a demanda por interações impulsionadas pela IA, sem contato físico, devido às normas de distanciamento social impostas.

Conclusões: A integração da IA na vida diária e na economia é inegável, abrindo caminho para novas indústrias, dispositivos de consumo, mudanças de empregos e muito mais. Embora as ramificações exatas da IA e da Internet das Coisas permaneçam incertas, elas têm o potencial de perturbar e remodelar significativamente a economia global.
